Pokemon Crossing App: Ben

- HISTORY: Ben really never knew his parents. He has been with his mother up until the age of three, in which shortly after his third birthday his mother died. That is the only memory he had of her, being a traumatic event to him. And like a Cubone, he wears his mother’s skull around, and refuses to take it off. In fact if you tried to take it off, he'd probably bite you or hit you with his bone club in the process. Making fun of him for wearing the skull will only make him cry, or have a tantrum. (Despite generally being a quiet, calm kind of boy, he does have his tantrums.)

He stayed in Lavender Town for a year, and had left and became a traveler doing volunteer work for food and clothing, never staying at a place for more than at least three months. He keeps a well written log of where he has been and what he done, as he enjoys being able to look back at what he's done. He is what you would call a 'kid genius' and spent most of his time in Libraries enlightening himself. At the age of five he was able to completely identify each and every kind of Pokémon bone, as fossils and bones of the sort were his favorite subject. What he has in book smart however, is what he lacks in street smarts. He has a bad sense of direction, and has problems communicating with and listening to others. You can say he has a mind of his own. (As he still believes in ghost/monster stories an so forth. Not to mention, he can't distinguish some books fact from fiction if it isn't stated.)

His only real companion is his Scolipede, Tiny. He found her as a Whirlipede in his pocket after having his coat set on a rock. He assumed the thing had just got stuck on the coat. He didn’t mind it much and enjoyed talking to it every so often. One night he woke up to see not a Whirlipede, but a Scolipede, which refuses to leave the pocket unless taken out by force. Continuing his journey he decided was finally going to settle in one spot.

This is where he found Carol, someone he had met long ago. Carol feels that it is his duty to bring the kid out of Ben as he reminds him of someone he use to be... though he doesn't seem to quite remember his own childhood days.

- Extra:
-If you ask him what kind of skull he is wearing, he won't answer. If he knows you a little, he'll just say his mom. He'll never say the specific type of skull, despite knowing what skull it is.
-He is near sighted, not far, and often takes his glasses off when he reads. It's just more comfortable to him.
-He's very protective over his Scolipede. Especially because of it's small size.
-Though he is mostly lonely becuase he is quiet, another reason could be is because he is socially awkward.
-He can be rather blunt with his thoughts when he does speak.
